Plus, Gabby Barrett rules for a sixth week.

Detroit-based hip-hop/trap artist Sada Baby (real name: Casada Sorrell) debuts at No. 20 on Billboard's Emerging Artists chart (dated April 4), thanks to his new LP Skuba Sada 2, which arrives at No. 1 on Heatseekers Albums, No. 22 on Top Album Sales and No. 125 on the Billboard 200. The set, released via Asylum Records, starts with 7,000 equivalent album units (3,000 copies sold), according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

Sada Baby sports one previous entry on Billboard's charts: His track "Bloxk Party," with Drego, reached No. 39 on the Mainstream R&B Hip-Hop Songs chart in December 2018.

Gabby Barrett logs her sixth week at No. 1 on Emerging Artists, as her breakthrough single "I Hope," on Warner Music Nashville/WAR, rises to No. 3 on Hot Country Songs and No. 6 on Country Airplay.

Among other Emerging Artists moves, DripReport makes his Billboard chart debut, opening at No. 43, thanks to his track "Sketchers." The song, released on Arista Records and which broke out on TikTok, earned 4.4 million U.S. streams (up 19%) and sold 1,000 downloads (up 9%) in the tracking week.

DripReport releases remixes of popular songs on his YouTube channel, which has 425,000 subscribers. His most-viewed remix, of Roddy Ricch's former Hot 100 No. 1 "The Box," has more than 9 million global YouTube views. "Sketchers" is his first original song and its video has drawn more than 28 million views.

Plus, singer-songwriter Beabadoobee (real name: Beatrice Laus) debuts at No. 45 on Emerging Artists, thanks to Powfu's "Death Bed," on which she's featured. The song jumps from No. 71 to No. 59 in its second week on the Hot 100 with 10.7 million U.S. streams (up 8%), 3,000 downloads sold (up 34%) and 3.9 million radio audience impressions (up 88%). The song also hits new highs on Rock Airplay (No. 20) and Alternative Songs (No. 26).

The collaboration was released on Robots and Humans/Columbia Records and samples Beabadoobee's 2017 song "Coffee" (released on Dirty Hit).

The Emerging Artists chart ranks the most popular developing artists of the week, using the same formula as the all-encompassing Billboard Artist 100, which measures artist activity across multiple Billboard charts, including the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard 200 and the Social 50. (The Artist 100 lists the most popular acts, overall, each week.) However, the Emerging Artists chart excludes acts that have notched a top 25 entry on either the Hot 100 or Billboard 200, as well as artists that have achieved two or more top 10s on Billboard's "Hot" song genre charts and/or consumption-based "Top" album genre rankings.
