Singer-songwriter Ashe, whose real name is Ashlyn Willson, debuts at No. 6 on Billboard's Emerging Artists chart (dated March 7), thanks to her breakthrough single "Moral of the Story."
The track, which Finneas co-produced and co-wrote, concurrently debuts at No. 71 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Ashe's first entry on the chart. It opens with 9.7 million U.S. streams (up 255%, prompting a No. 50 debut on Streaming Songs) and 4,000 downloads sold (up 79%), according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. The song is featured in the Netflix film To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, which premiered Feb. 12.
Ashe also scores her first entry on the Billboard 200 albums chart, as her EP Moral of the Story: Chapter 1 bows at No. 159 with 7,000 equivalent album units. Ashe released the four-song effort (on Mom + Pop Records) in April 2019. The set includes "Story."
