The sextet now joins a small but growing group of female K-pop acts able to send their debut entries to both of Billboard's main world-genre charts as "Bon Bon Chocolat" hit No. 5 on World Digital Song Sales when it was released last year. EVERGLOW now join Red Velvet, Twice, BLACKPINK, LOONA, Pristin, (G)I-DLE, IZ*ONE and ITZY as the only girl groups able to do this on their first tries.
Speaking of the World Digital Song Sales chart, EVERGLOW scores another Top 10 hit as new single "Dun Dun" starts at No. 3, selling 1,000 copies in the week ending Feb. 6. In terms of top-selling K-pop songs in America this week, the fierce kiss-off cut is only behind BTS' "Black Swan" as the track spends its third week at No. 1 on World Digital Song Sales. EVERGLOW has already sent a remarkable five songs to the Top 10 of the chart so far, hitting as high as No. 2 with "Adios" last year.
The confident sound EVERGLOW established from debut continues on with their latest as "Dun Dun" is a snarky, sassy kiss-off cut complete with a bass drop and intense dance breakdown like their past singles. The signature style stays intact on other Reminiscence tracks like the EP opener "Salute" and the aggressive trap cut "Player," but there's promising moments of growth like with the sensual, island-pop–tinged standout "No Lie." The girls are paying back the interest they're getting from U.S. fans during their Everlasting in USA tour that kicks off in Dallas on March 6 and wraps in Los Angeles on March 15.
