Following the death of Juice WRLD on Dec. 8, fans have been mourning by streaming his music, according to initial reports to Nielsen Music. On Dec. 8 and Dec. 9, the hip-hop artist’s catalog of songs garnered 115 million on-demand streams (audio and video combined) in the U.S. -- up 453% as compared to the two days previous (25 million on Dec. 6-7).
Among Juice WRLD’s top streaming songs after his death: his No. 2 Billboard Hot 100 hit single “Lucid Dreams” (18 million), “Bandit” with YoungBoy Never Broke Again (13 million on Dec. 8-9), “Legends” (13 million), “Robbery” (8 million) and “All Girls Are the Same” (8 million).
Further, it is expected that Juice WLRD’s two solo albums, Goodbye & Good Riddance and Death Race for Love, will vault back into the top 15 on next week’s Billboard 200 chart (dated Dec. 21).
