Dalex and Sech attend Billboard 2019 Latin Power Players at NeueHouse Hollywood on Oct. 15, 2019 in Los Angeles.

The set features nine acts including hitmakers Wisin, Zion & Lennox and De La Ghetto.

Sech and Dalex’s collaborative album The Academy arrives at No. 10 on the Latin Rhythm Albums chart dated Oct. 26. Produced by Dimelo Flow, the seven-track EP features hitmakers Wisin, Zion & Lennox, De La Ghetto and Justin Quiles and newcomers Lenny Tavárez, Feid, Cazzu, and Mariah.

Rich Mendez, CEO of Rich Music tells Billboard: “When Flow, Lenny and Dalex got together for the remix of 'Pa’ Mi' and 'Cuaderno,' they gave each other names of the characters of The Avengers, playing around in the studio. This idea lingered and when Sech and Dalex got in the studio for their EP, the superhero concept took a life of its own with each featured act bringing her/his own force. The Avengers was then changed into The Academy and established acts like Zion, Lennox, Wisin sealed the idea with their flow.”

The set, released Oct. 11 via Rich Music, earned 3,000 in equivalent album units in the week ending Oct. 17, according to Nielsen Music. The overall sum is predominantly powered by streaming activity as it collected a little less than 3,000 in streaming equivalent album units which equates to 4.39 million on-demand audio streams earned for the album’s tracks in its first week.

The Latin Rhythm Albums chart ranks the most popular Latin rhythmic albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units are comprised of traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).

Academy earns both Sech and Dalex their second top 10 debut on the Latin Rhythm Albums chart, both in 2019. Coincidentally, both acts notched their first entry on the tally’s top tier in May. Sech’s Sueños peaked at No. 6 (Aug. 3) and Dalex’s Climaxx debuted and peaked at No. 8 (May 25).

Academy yields one song on the Hot Latin Songs chart: the all-male “Quizás,” with Justin Quiles, Lenny Tavárez, Feid, Wisin and Zion which climbs 49-41 on the current chart week.

Further, Academy arrives at No. 11 on the Top Latin Albums list and earns Sech his second top 10 debut.
