The song follows 'Ready to Let Go' atop the chart.

Cage the Elephant links two straight No. 1s on Billboard's Adult Alternative Songs airplay chart for the first time, as "Social Cues" climbs 2-1 on the Oct. 5-dated tally.

The coronation follows the one-week reign of "Ready to Let Go" in March.

The band adds its fourth No. 1 on the chart, having also led with "Come a Little Closer" (two weeks, 2014) and "Mess Around" (two weeks, 2016).

With "Social Cues" and "Ready to Let Go," Cage the Elephant has topped Adult Alternative Songs with multiple singles from an album for the first time.

"Social Cues" rises 4-3 on the Alternative Songs airplay chart and bullets at its No. 4 high on the all-rock-format Rock Airplay survey, up 10% to 8.2 million audience impressions, according to Nielsen Music.

The track is the second single and title cut from the band's fifth LP. The set debuted at No. 2 on Top Rock Albums and No. 21 on the Billboard 200 dated May 4, marking the act's best rank on the latter list since Melophobia started at No. 15 in October 2013.
