As for the Hot 100, Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" recently wrapped its record 19-week run at No. 1.
100% No. 1: Meanwhile, the Hot 100's new leader, Lizzo's "Truth Hurts," likewise takes over atop the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart (3-1). Her first No. 1 on both charts was remixed by CID and Barry Harris, among others. It's Lizzo's second Dance/Mix Show Airplay entry, after "Juice," which reached No. 26 in May. (The Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart measures radio airplay on a select group of full-time dance stations, along with plays during mix shows on nearly 80 top 40-formatted reporters.)
Additionally on Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Post Malone motors 21-7 with "Goodbyes," featuring Young Thug. The song is Post Malone's eighth top 10 on the chart and Young Thug's second.
PORTER'S FIRST CLUB LEADER: On Dance Club Songs, Billy Porter scores his first No. 1 with "Love Yourself" (3-1). The Tony Award-winning actor and singer's previous chart action came a decade ago, as featured on Matt Zarley's "While You See a Chance" (No. 28, August 2009). "Love" was remixed by Ralphi Rosario, Michael Grey and Barry Harris, among others.
"'Love Yourself,' the original version, was written and produced by the talented transgender artist D. Smith," Porter tells Billboard. "I wanted a song to release in time for World Pride and then all these great remixes started coming in, and here we are at No. 1. My thanks and gratitude to all the DJs and clubs who are supporting me."
