Plus, Saweetie logs her second week at No. 1 and Half Alive & Wilder Woods debut.

K-pop boy band X1 bounds 11-2 on Billboard's Emerging Artists chart (dated Aug. 24) -- despite having not yet released any music.

The group's rise can be credited to social media activity, as it surges 6-2 on the Social 50, boosted by anticipation for X1's debut LP Emergency: Quantum Leap (and lead single "Flash"), due Aug. 27.

The group, which is signed to Swing Entertainment and Stone Music Entertainment, comprises 11 members: Han Seung-woo, Cho Seung-youn, Kim Woo-seok, Kim Yo-han, Lee Han-gyul, Cha Jun-ho, Son Dong-pyo, Kang Min-hee, Lee Eun-sang, Song Hyeong-jun and Nam Do-hyon. The members all competed on South Korean reality show Produce X 101 earlier this year and formed X1 shortly after.

The Emerging Artists chart ranks the most popular developing artists of the week, using the same formula as the all-encompassing Billboard Artist 100, which measures artist activity across multiple Billboard charts, including the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard 200 and the Social 50. (The Artist 100 lists the most popular acts, overall, each week.) However, the Emerging Artists chart excludes acts that have notched a top 25 entry on either the Hot 100 or Billboard 200, as well as artists that have achieved two or more top 10s on Billboard's "Hot" song genre charts and/or consumption-based "Top" album genre rankings.

Saweetie spends her second week at No. 1 on Emerging Artists, as her single "My Type" rises 35-33 on the Hot 100, reaching a new peak.

Rounding out the top five of the Emerging Artists chart, SHAED shifts 4-3, NLE Choppa dips 2-4 and Lil Tjay leaps 21-5, entering the top five for the first time as his sophomore EP F.N.debuts at No. 20 on Top Rap Albums and No. 38 on the Billboard 200 with 13,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music.

Among other moves, Half Alive enters Emerging Artists at No. 16, as its debut LP, Now, Not Yet, bows at No. 1 on Heatseekers Albums and No. 15 on Alternative Albums (5,000 units; 3,000 in traditional album sales). The group's breakout single "Still Feel." reached No. 7 on Alternative Songs and No. 21 on Hot Rock Songs in July.

Plus, Wilder Woods begins at No. 20 on Emerging Artists, as the act's self-titled debut LP arrives at No. 2 on Heatseekers Albums (3,000 sold) and breakout single "Supply & Demand" hits a new high on the Adult Alternative Songs chart, at No. 27. Wilder Woods is a solo side project of Needtobreathe frontman Bear Rinehart. Needtobreathe's last release, 2016's Hard Love, bowed at No. 1 on Top Rock Albums and Top Christian Albums and No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
