The band first led with "My Head Is An Animal" in 2012.

Of Monsters and Men's Fever Dream debuts atop Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart dated Aug. 10, marking the Iceland band's second leader.

The set follows My Head Is an Animal, the group’s debut album, which led for a week in April 2012. Its follow-up, Beneath the Skin, bowed and peaked at No. 2 in June 2015.

Fever Dream rules with 34,000 equivalent album units earned in its first week, according to Nielsen Music.

The band also notches its third straight top 10 on the Billboard 200, as Fever Dream debuts at No. 9. Animal and Skin reached Nos. 6 and 3, respectively.

The new release's lead single, "Alligator," led the Adult Alternative Songs airplay chart for two weeks in July and has peaked thus far at No. 5 on Alternative Songs.

"Alligator" ascends 15-9 on the latest streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Hot Rock Songs chart, marking the band’s first top 10 on the tally since "Little Talks," which peaked at No. 3 in July 2012. Three songs from Fever Dream make the chart in all, with "Wild Roses" re-entering at No. 41 and "Wars" debuting at No. 48.
