20 WEEKS AT No. 1: Shifting to Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, Marshmello and Bastille bank a 20th week at No. 1 with "Happier." It's the sixth song to reach the milestone in the chart's six-year history; Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey's "The Middle" maintains the record (33 weeks, 2018). "Happier" also extends to a 23rd week atop Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales, the second-best sum ("Middle" earned 25).
Also on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, Calvin Harris and Rag'n'Bone Man rise 13-10 with "Giant." Harris tallies his chart-best 18th top 10 (The Chainsmokers follow with 15) and Rag'n'Bone Man posts his first. The song drew 3.7 million U.S. streams and sold 1,000 downloads in the tracking week ending Jan. 31, according to Nielsen Music. It concurrently debuts at No. 36 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay and No. 42 on Dance Club Songs.
HIGH 'HOPE': Speaking of The Chainsmokers, the act returns to the top 10 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, earning top Streaming Gainer honors, as "Hope," featuring Winona Oak, rises 11-9. It's the track's first frame back in the top 10 since it debuted at No. 7 on Dec. 29. On Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs, "Hope" hits the top 10 for the first time (13-10), marking the DJ duo's 12th top 10 (second only to Harris' 13) and singer Oak's first. "Hope" collected 5.5 million domestic streams, up 8 percent, in the tracking week.
