P!nk Returns to No. 1 on Billboard Artist 100, BTS Bounds to No. 4

Plus, Charlie Puth hits a new peak in the top 10, and the Backstreet Boys debut.

P!nk vaults from No. 39 to No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated May 26) to become the top musical act in the U.S. for a second total week, as her album Beautiful Trauma rockets 83-2 on the Billboard 200 (after previously launching at No. 1 last November).

Beautiful Trauma roars back up the Billboard 200 (earning 139,000 equivalent album units, up 1,715 percent, according to Nielsen Music), fueled by a concert/ticket album sale redemption offer tied to the next leg of her latest tour. P!nk first hit No. 1 on the Artist 100 on Nov. 4, 2017, as the set debuted atop the Billboard 200.

The Artist 100, which launched in July 2014, measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.

BTS bounds 10-4 on the Artist 100 as the K-pop kings crown the Social 50 chart for a 75th week, up 213 percent in social metrics, and their album Love Yourself: Her gains by 81 percent to 2,000 sold, as it ranks at No. 2 on World Albums (after reaching No. 1). The group's new set Love Yourself: Tear is expected to challenge for the top spot on next week's Billboard 200.

BTS peaked at No. 2 on the Artist 100 in April, when its Face Yourself debuted at No. 1 on World Albums.

Rounding out the Artist 100's top five, Post Malone dips to No. 2 after his first two weeks at No. 1; Drake drops 2-3; and Imagine Dragons falls 4-5.

Among other Artist 100 moves, Charlie Puth jumps 28-6, hitting a new peak, as his sophomore album Voicenotes arrives at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with 58,000 equivalent album units.

Plus, Backstreet Boys debut at No. 90 on the Artist 100, as their new single "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" debuts at No. 12 on the Pop Digital Song Sales chart (with 13,000 sold) and No. 30 on the Adult Pop Songs airplay chart.
