Romeo Santos & Regulo Caro Collect New No. 1s Across Latin Songs Airplay Charts

Caro scores his first No. 1 on Regional Mexican Songs with “Como Vuelvo A Enamorarte.”

In the midst of his Golden Tour, Romeo Santos collects his 12th No. 1 on the Tropical Songs airplay chart (dated April 7) as “Sobredosis,” featuring Ozuna, bumps 2-1 in its 15th frame. Among all acts with the most No. 1s on the list, Santos trails only Marc Anthony and Victor Manuelle (both with 28), Prince Royce (15), Elvis Crespo and Gilberto Santa Rosa (both with 14), and Jerry Rivera (13). The song earns Ozuna his first chart leader.

“Sobredosis" is the fourth single off Santo’s third studio album, Golden, and collected 7.6 million audience impressions in the week ending April 1 (up 4 percent), according to Nielsen Music. 

Over on the Hot Latin Songs chart — which blends airplay, sales, and streams — “Sobredosis" is steady at No. 14 for a second week. The track has so-far peaked at No. 13. Meanwhile, his other charting song with Ozuna, "El Farsante," is a non-mover at No. 4 (after earlier peaking at No. 2). 

Regulo Caro Crowns Regional Mexican Songs: On the Regional Mexican Songs airplay chart, Regulo Caro earns his first No. 1 as his single “Como Vuelvo a Enamorarte” ascends 2-1, besting his highest No. 2 rank on the list with “Cicatrices” in 2016. "Como" collected 8.8 million audience impressions in the week ending April 1 -- up 3 percent.

“I’m grateful to everyone who took the time to listen to the song,” Caro tells Billboard. “Music connects feelings and emotions, and it seems that this song achieved its goal as we are now No. 1. When a tune gets you hooked, nothing stops it. Thank you, all.”

"Como” is the first single of his upcoming album. It earns Caro his third top Latin Airplay top 10, gliding 12-9 in its 14th week. 

Daddy Yankee Is Back At No.1 on Latin Airplay: Finally, Daddy Yankee's "Dura" returns to No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart for a second week (16.4 million in audience, up 15 percent). The track rises 3-1, after spending two weeks away from the the top slot.

The song also returns to No. 1 on the Latin Rhythm Songs airplay tally, for its second total week at No. 1.
