Enrique Iglesias Scores 38th Top 10 Hot Latin Songs Hit With 'El Baño'

Enrique Iglesias rolls back to the Hot Latin Songs chart with “El Baño,” featuring Bad Bunny, as the song debuts at No. 8 on the Jan. 27-dated list.

The new single notches Iglesias his 38th top 10 hit on the list while Bad Bunny’s his fifth. Iglesias inches closer to the all-time record for the most top 10s on Hot Latin Songs, as he’s only one away from matching Luis Miguel’s record of 39. Miguel last visited the top 10 in 2005 with “Sabes Una Cosa,” while Iglesias has nabbed 18 top 10s since 2005.

"El Baño" was released was released on Jan. 12 (along with its music video) and starts with 9,000 downloads sold and 4.74 million streams earned in the week ending Jan. 18, according to Nielsen Music.

The track bows at No. 2 on Latin Digital Song Sales and at No. 13 on Latin Streaming Songs. On Latin Airplay, the song surges 42-8 (9.7 million; up 170 percent) after the song debuted a week ago from only three days of airplay. (The airplay tracking week runs Monday through Sunday, while the sales and streaming tracking frames are Friday through Thursday.)

"El Baño" follows Iglesias’ 2017 hit, “Súbeme La Radio,” featuring Descemer Bueno, Zion & Lennox or Sean Paul, which reached No. 2 on Hot Latin Songs, No. 1 on Latin Airplay, No. 1 on Latin Rhythm Songs. 

Over on the Billboard Hot 100, “El Baño” debuts at No. 98, granting Iglesias his 25th chart entry, and the third for Bad Bunny.

Banda Los Sebastianes Hits the Top 10 on Regional Mexican Songs: Elsewhere, on the Regional Mexican Songs airplay chart (dated Jan. 27), Banda Los Sebastianes score their first top 10 as “En Vida” ascends 11-8 in its tenth frame. The song — the act’s fifth entry on the list — is up 17 percent to 6 million in audience impressions. On Hot Latin Songs, the track rises 42-39, marking their second top 40 hit.
