Fall Out Boy's 'Young And Menace' Hits No. 1 on Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 Chart

The song is set to appear on their upcoming seventh studio album, 'MANIA,' due in September.

Following a hoard of social media posts and a fan scavenger hunt in Chicago to tease new music, Fall Out Boy delivered a new single, “Young And Menace,” Thursday morning (April 27) and the song hit No. 1 on the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart shortly after. The Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart measures the real-time acceleration of conversation around artists and their music on Twitter.

The song is Fall Out Boy’s first new song since “Ghostbusters (I’m Not Afraid)” featuring Missy Elliott, which was the lead single for the Ghostbusters soundtrack last year. "Young And Menace" is the first single from the group's upcoming seventh studio album M A  N   I    A, due out Sept. 15. Their past two studio albums, 2015’s American Beauty/American Psycho and 2013’s Save Rock And Roll, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

“Young And Menace” hit the Trending 140 chart around 10 a.m. ET Thursday, and the song bumped Haim’s new single “Right Now” from atop the chart shortly after its release. Fall Out Boy also released a music video for the song, which has surged to 200,000 global views on YouTube since its release.
