"HAPPINESS" is the first track from the group's sixth studio album, H A R D L O V E, due July 15. NEEDTOBREATHE's last album, 2014's Rivers in the Wasteland, debuted at No. 1 on both Top Christian Albums and Top Rock Albums, marking the band's second trip to the top of each respective chart, and No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

In its first sales week, ending Thursday, April 7, "HAPPINESS" sold 13,000 downloads, according to Nielsen Music, and launches atop Christian Digital Songs, becoming the group's fourth leader on the tally. On Christian Airplay, "HAPPINESS" starts at No. 46 (463,000 in audience).

NEEDTOBREATHE will hit the road starting Aug. 17 in Raleigh, N.C., on what it has dubbed the Tour de Compadres, with supporting acts that will include Mat Kearney, among others.

On Top Christian Albums, which is led for an eighth week by Joey + Rory's Hymns (21,000 sold), North Carolina-based Decyfer Down opens at No. 9 with The Other Side of Darkness (3,000). The set is the rock band's fourth appearance on the tally, and its second-highest opening; 2009's Crash bowed at No. 3.

Finally, venerable vocalist Sandi Patty, who is in the midst of her Forever Grateful: The Farewell Tour, arrives at No. 32 on Top Christian Albums with new LP Forever Grateful (1,000). Patty has been charting on Top Christian Albums for more than three decades and most recently hit the top 10 with Christmas Blessings (No. 8) in 2015.
