George Robertson

On Fridays, Billboard presents Tomorrow's Hits, a weekly look at new and noteworthy acts making their way toward Billboard chart success.

Folk, rock and EDM collide harmoniously in "River" (Teleport), the second song released by Los Angeles singer-songwriter Bishop. The track, co-written and -produced by Ian Scott and Mark Jackson, enters Rock Digital Songs at No. 15 (8,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen Music) and Hot Rock Songs as the Hot Shot Debut at No. 22. –Kevin Rutherford (@surfwax83)

Los Angeles-based group Phases is beaming up Dance Club Songs with "I'm in Love With My Life" (Warner Bros.), which surges 30-21. After reaching No. 35 on Alternative Songs in July 2015, the track has been remixed for club promotion by the likes of Dave Aude and Eau Claire. The tune is also garnering exposure thanks to its Feb. 8 synch in NBC's Eva Longoria-led Telenovela. –Keith Caulfield (@keith_caulfield)

Matt Simons

Mixing acoustic guitars and house production, Matt Simons' "Catch & Release" (Republic) is building Stateside after reaching the top 10 of multiple European charts. Sparked by its remix from Dutch duo Deepend, the song from the Northern California-born/Brooklyn-based Simons is bubbling under Adult Pop Songs and Adult Alternative Songs, with leading support from tastemaker radio station KINK, Portland, Ore. –Gary Trust (@gthot20)
