Agent Mari Arionne Davies is headed to Live Nation Urban. Announced by Live Nation Urban president Shawn Gee, Davies will take on the role of vp of booking and talent for the promoter.

"We are beyond excited to bring Mari over to head up our Festival Booking and Touring activities, Gee said in a release. "She is a rising star in the business, and we are fortunate to have her on the Live Nation Urban team."

Formerly with ICM Partners, Davies will take on the role for LNU and will be tasked with booking artists for Live Nation Urban festival properties and touring brands. She will oversee the department and actively seek out partners to introduce a new generation of tours, festivals, and activations.

"It's truly a thrill to be joining the dynamic team at Live Nation Urban. LNU has shown tremendous growth and proven to be the premier source for live urban music," Davies said in a release. "I look forward to working along with the team to further impact the company and the culture and to continue working with the brightest stars of hip hop, R&B and gospel as live events return to stages around the world."

Throughout her career as an agent, Davies has facilitated the development and growth of R&B and hip-hop stars such as A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Cordae, Kiana Ledé, and Jacquees, among others. Her roster also included everyone from Kelly Rowland to retired NBA star Matt Barnes to comedian and actor Hannibal Buress. She also notably signed G Herbo, Yung Bleu, EST Gee, Fivio Foreign, Arin Ray, and Nigerian artist Davido.

Drawing on a background in social justice, she has also been tapped to identity avenues to support underserved voices in the business and uplift the greater global community as well. Davies is a founding member of Diversify ICM, the agency’s BIPOC initiative, and a mentor and member of Next Gem Femme in conjunction with Femme It Forward. Based in Los Angeles, Davies also volunteers regularly with Union Rescue Mission, A Place Called Home, LA Mission, and The Downtown Women’s Center.
