Booking agency Ground Control Touring has signed an exclusive livestreaming partnership with streamer Mandolin. Ground Control Touring is the first booking agency to exclusively partner with Mandolin to host, produce, and market select forthcoming shows from its powerhouse roster of artists.

The announcement comes on the heels of Mandolin’s previous exclusive partnerships with The Ryman Auditorium and City Winery.

“We are excited to partner with Mandolin to power our upcoming streams, bringing their best-in-class software solutions to our roster of artists and their fans worldwide,” said Ground Control Touring vice president John Chavez in a release.

The partnership kicked off last month with a special anniversary show on March 27 from Waxahatchee. The performance celebrated the one-year anniversary of the release of album Saint Cloud and was filmed in Kansas City. The two entities also partnered for Ani DiFranco's Revolutionary Love album release with a livestream on April 18.

“Ground Control Touring is one of the sharpest - and, let’s be honest, coolest - agencies in music, and we’re excited to be partnering with them on our shared mission of bringing their acts’ live music goals to fruition,” said Mandolin CEO Mary Kay Huse in a release.

Under the terms of the deal, Mandolin will power upcoming GCTV streams and serve as a continuation of the series that Ground Control Touring launched in mid 2020 to provide a solution for their artists to present ticketed live and pre-recorded streaming concerts. Shows hosted on Mandolin through GCTV will not be limited to Ground Control Touring clients and will include non-GCT bands, festivals, and other partners as well.
