BLACKPINK member Rosé has scored her first solo hit with the single “On the Ground,” which entered the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts at No. 1 this week.
The singer’s chart-topping debut marks the first time an artist has led the Global Excl. U.S. tally both solo and with a group; BLACKPINK’s “Lovesick Girls” topped the survey dated Oct. 17, 2020. The popularity of "On the Ground" additionally rocketed Rosé to No. 2 on Billboard's Emerging Artists chart.
In the March 12-18 tracking week, “On the Ground” racked up 92.1 million streams and sold 29,000 worldwide, aided in part by Rosé’s performance of the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on March 16.
