Industry veteran Laurie Jacoby has been tapped as the new executive vice president, chief entertainment officer for BSE Global, which owns the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center and supports the management of the New York Liberty.
As chief entertainment officer, Jacoby will oversee programming and marketing for Barclays Center, including the booking of concerts, non-tenant sporting events, family shows and award shows. She will be responsible for the development of other premier live events at the venue as well.
"Laurie is one of the most talented and respected executives in the entertainment business and we are thrilled to welcome her to the BSE Global family," said CEO of BSE Global John Abbamondi in a release. "With experience in booking shows and events at award-winning and globally-recognized venues, she is exceptionally qualified to lead programming efforts for Barclays Center.
