Midem Partners With Latinx Bizarro Lab for Virtual Event on Latin American Music

Midem and Latinx Bizarro Lab have joined forces for a two-day virtual event that will put a spotlight on the Latin American music industry.

The Midem Digital program will bring together the region's key players and their global peers on March 11 and 12 to discuss the eclectic music scenes of Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico. The event will feature panel discussions, networking opportunities and showcases.

"It's essential for us to continue to help the music community to come together, to connect and drive business, while we all face the ongoing challenges of the pandemic," Alexandre Deniot, Midem director, said in a statement. "We launched the Midem Latin American Forum in 2018, spotlighting its endless opportunities and the region's incredible talents. And this year, we're particularly thrilled to pursue the exploration of this phenomenal market in partnership with our long-term friends at Bizarro."

Alfredo Alonso, CEO of Bizarro Live Entertainment, called the partnership and seminar "an initiative that allows us to meet again to discuss possible solutions and new ways of thinking, addressing how innovation will contribute to the development of entertainment in a post-COVID world."

The virtual event, which precedes Midem 2021 set to take place in Cannes from June 1-4, will also highlight local talent and support them in creating opportunities to reach new international audiences. For schedule and registration information, click here.
