NIVA Reveals Schedule for Stacked #SOSFest Featuring The Lumineers, Major Lazer and More

National Independent Venue Association has announced the schedule for the first-ever #SOSFest in partnership with YouTube. The virtual event will kick off this Friday with performances from Alec Benjamin at the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles and Macklemore at Neumos in Seattle.

The full lineup includes three days of big name artists playing from their favorite independent music venues. From Oct. 16-18, there will be sets from Marshmello + Demi Lovato and Foo Fighters at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, Kelsea Ballerini at Exit/In in Nashville, Dave Matthews at Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville, Reba McEntire at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, G-Eazy at The Independent in San Francisco and more.

Hosted by Reggie Watts, the festival will include performances from 35 artists recorded live from more than 25 of the most storied independent concert venues across the United States. #SOSFEST will livestream in its entirety on NIVA’s Official YouTube Channel with performance segments simultaneously airing on performer’s Official Artist YouTube Channels.

Other artists playing across the country to support the Save Our Stages Act waiting to be passed in Congress will include FINNEASSebastián Yatra, YGJason MrazPhoebe Bridgers, Rise AgainstBrittany Howard, Leon BridgesMiley Cyrus, The RootsPortugal. The Man, Major Lazer, Monica, Little Big Town and many more.

The weekend of shows will close out at 9:05pm ET with a performance from The Lumineers at Boulder Theater in Colorado.
