Walker was joined by hip hop historian and musical legend Fab 5 Freddy, The Remix: Hip Hop x Fashion film producer Lisa Cortés, and Zoo York co-founder Eli Morgan Gesner.

The show highlighted the hip hop scene for both Los Angeles and New York in the 1980s, rooted in music, hip hop, skate, and fashion. Hosted by Paper Magazine Founder David Hershkovits and produced by Vancouver-based retailer Burb, the discussion with cultural tastemakers was held via Zoom with special guests and a live audience including NBA star and activist Al Harrington and celebrity stylist Avon Dorsey.

The show examines the collision of rap and skate culture,  how Cortés co-brokered Run DMC’s first Adidas deal and Walker and Misa Hylton contributions to culture spreading the visual culture that is integral to the entire hip hop legacy.
