Online platform SonicBids wants to help music fans practice social distancing by bringing new music to them.

SonicBids will showcase artists from around the world on March 27 at 7 p.m. EST for an online event called Stay The F*ck Home. Selected bands will perform 1-3 songs from their own locations via Zoom and live broadcast for fans, music executives and more. Bands should get Venmo accounts ready so those watching can add to their virtual "tip buckets" as they perform.

The showcase will be filled with up and coming artists of all genres who can apply here. SonicBids is seeking solo artists or bands that already live together to help prevent large groups from gathering.

The platform expects to host 10 bands for the first show. Depending on demand, SonicBids hopes to make it an ongoing series for more artists to apply.

Fans who want to watch the showcase can RSVP here.
