Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he will not make an appearance at this year's South by Southwest in Austin due to the coronavirus.

Osbourne was scheduled to attend SXSW in support of the world-premiere screening of Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne, a two-hour documentary special exploring the many lives and decade-spanning career of the rock legend, which is set to air this summer on A&E.

The documentary was set to premiere March 14 at the Austin Convention Center, followed by an encore screening at Alamo Lamar on Mach 17.

The two-part documentary will trace Osbourne's life from his childhood in poverty and time in prison, to fronting Black Sabbath and successful solo career, to becoming one of rock's elder statesmen and a lovable 21st-century TV dad. The 86-minute film also features interviews with wife Sharon, daughter Kelly and son Jack Osbourne, as well as friends and fellow musicians, including Rick Rubin, Ice-T, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Jonathan Davis, Post Malone and more.

Osbourne joins a growing list of SXSW participants pulling out of the conference due the coronavirus, including major companies such as Netflix, Apple, Twitter, Facebook and Amazon Studios.

The news also follows the indefinite postponement of Osbourne's No More Tours 2 trek, which called off its North American dates on Feb. 17.
