On Monday (March 2), Green Hill Productions announced an integrated partnership with pianist and songwriter Jim Brickman on his forthcoming releases. The deal also includes the acquisition of the breadth of Brickman’s publishing and master catalog.
The deal with Brickman is part of Green Hill’s deal with Primary Wave (through Green Hill’s parent company Gaither Music Group) to develop new artists and acquire strategic catalogs of established acts, while also bringing music from Green Hill artists to a wider audience.
Brickman is currently celebrating his 25th anniversary as a recording artist, which will be marked by the release of his forthcoming studio album, 25th Anniversary Greatest Hits. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with Lady Antebellum, Kenny Loggins, Martina McBride, Olivia Newton-John and Dave Koz and been nominated for two Grammys.
Dallas rapper Fat Yunginn has signed with Cash Money Records, it was announced Monday (March 2).
"I grew up off Cash Money, I grew up listening to them," said the rapper in a statement. "I ain’t gonna lie I always wanted to be on Cash Money and I always wanted to sign with them…it’s a perfect match."
Fat Yunginn's first release with the label will be the single "Show My Ass" featuring fellow Dallas rapper Yella Beezy. His other tracks include "Fill Up Da Bagg" and "Sack Up."
Artist-songwriter JULiA LEWiS, aka Benjamin Falik, has been unveiled as the first singing for the joint venture between Atlas Music and Quincy Jones Productions. In a short period of time, Lewis has already worked with G-Eazy, Wiz Khalifa, Ne-Yo, G-Eazy, Scott Storch, Phonte, Cautious Clay, and E-40, among others.

Asylum Records announced the signing of rising South Carolina rapper PG RA on Thursday (March 5). To kick off the union, PG Ra released a Young Chang-directed music video for his new single, "Made It."
