Before the CMA Awards on Nov. 13, the morning show will broadcast live from Wildhorse Saloon, with Combs, Maddie & Tae, Trisha Yearwood and Trace Adkins.

MelodyVR, a virtual reality music platform, is teaming up with ABC’s Good Morning America to bring fans up close and behind-the-scenes during the morning news program’s Nashville visit ahead of the 2019 CMA Awards.

Hours before the CMA Awards air via ABC on Nov. 13, Good Morning America will broadcast live from Music City’s Wildhorse Saloon, where MelodyVR users will have a 360-degree virtual reality experience while special guests Luke Combs, Maddie & Tae, Trisha Yearwood and Trace Adkins visit the show. By using the MelodyVR app, country fans will experience the program in full immersive virtual reality and can choose their location with the help of different Jump Spots, a function that allows users to select where the camera lens goes.

“I don’t know if you want me in your living room, but if you do, we made that happen,” Combs says in a statement. “It’s so cool that people around the world can get up close to the show in Nashville with MelodyVR and Good Morning America. CMA Awards day will be so exciting for me after one hell of a year, and being able to share that moment with my fans in VR is real special.”

Wednesday morning's Good Morning America program and partnership with MelodyVR will serve as a preview ahead of the awards show later that night. This isn’t the first time MelodyVR has worked with Good Morning America for a special country tie-in. During the morning news program’s Summer Concert Series, those with the app were able to broadcast Marshmello and Kane Brown’s concert across 15 countries.

“It’s great to be right at the heart of the action during the biggest day in the country music calendar, and it’s a privilege to allow fans around the world to feel as though they’re right here in Nashville, as award excitement builds,” Anthony Matchett, CEO of MelodyVR adds.
