Universal Music Publishing Group has signed a global administration deal with Robbie Williams’ publishing company, Farrell Music, covering the British pop superstar and former Take That member's existing catalogue and future works.

The announcement comes ahead of Williams' thirteenth studio album and first Christmas record, a double album of covers and original songs slated for release before the end of 2019. He kicked off his sold-out, first-ever Las Vegas residency at the Wynn Las Vegas in March.

The signing marks a reunion for Williams and UMPG U.K. managing director Mike McCormack, who signed Williams as a member of Take That in the early '90s, when Williams was at Virgin Music. "Even then, he was a huge personality and a pleasure to work with," comments McCormack. "He’s gone on to become a global superstar and an incredible songwriter -- so it’s a privilege to represent all these great songs and the new material he will be writing in the future.”

Take That toured the world and released three albums between 1992 and 1995, scoring hits like "Back For Good," "Patience," "Never Forget" and "Pray." Williams then kicked off his solo career in 1997 with Life Thru a Lens, which included breakthrough anthem "Angels," and by 2016, he broke the record for most U.K. No. 1 albums by a British solo artist, debuting at the top with his 11th studio release The Heavy Entertainment Show.

Williams has won 18 Brit Awards (for both his solo work and as a member of Take That), five Ivor Novello Awards and two MTV Video Music Awards. He was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2004.

Meanwhile, last year, Williams performed at the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony, released compilation album Under the Radar, Vol. 2, and joined the judges' panel for the 15th season of the UK X Factor
