United Talent Agency has announced the signing of singer/songwriter Yusuf/Cat Stevens for representation in all areas.

The British-born multi-instrumentalist has helped shape the sound of music for decades with mid-1960s hits "I Love My Dog" and "Matthew and Son" and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014. This year, he was also inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Yusuf's fourth studio album Tea for the Tillerman, will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year and has been certified triple platinum in the U.S. by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), along with its 1971 follow-up Teaser and the Firecat.

In addition to his achievements in music, Yusuf has been recognized for his humanitarianism. Among other accolades, he won the "Man of Peace" Award at The World Summit of Noble Peace Laureates for his "dedication to promote peace, the reconciliation of people, and to condemn terrorism."

Yusuf is currently furthering his philanthropic efforts with the launch of the "Peace Train" project, named after his timeless anthem for hope. The initiative is focused on providing relief, medical aid, and education to individuals in need, as well as promoting harmony and respect amongst children of diverse backgrounds.

Yusuf continues to be managed by Yoriyos Adamos at Catch Bull Management.
