Pulse Music Group has signed music multi-hyphenate James Blake to an exclusive global publishing agreement for future works, the independent publisher announced today (June 24).

"I'm thrilled to be working with James as he is an artist I've admired for many years," said Pulse Music Group senior director, creative Markell Casey. "It's a testament to the brilliant team here at Pulse as he could have gone anywhere else but instead chose to be with us."

Blake is currently touring his fourth album, Assume Form, which he unveiled in January, featuring the likes of Travis Scott, Rosalía and André 3000. Last year, the lauded singer, songwriter and producer won his first Grammy award in the category of best rap song for his Kendrick Lamar collaboration "King's Dead" from the box office smash Black Panther.

"We are honored to be able to join forces with such a seminal artist as James Blake," added Pulse Music Group president and head of creative Maria Egan. "This is such an important signing for Markell and our team in our mission of creatively supporting the best in class in music of all genres."

Blake joins a growing roster of all-star clients at Pulse, which includes hit songwriter Starrah, Run the Jewels' El-P, Ty Dolla $ign and DRAM.
