The news follows an announcement of the band's first studio album in 10 years.

APA has signed musician, actor and TV host Mark McGrath for representation in all areas. In addition, the McGrath-fronted band Sugar Ray has signed with APA for touring.

McGrath most recently appeared as a finalist on CBS's Celebrity Big Brother and on the first season of Miss Dynamite on Netflix. His television credits include serving as a host or presenter for The Grammy Awards, The Billboard Music Awards, The MTV Music Awards, Extra and Don’t Forget the Lyrics.

McGrath has also guest starred on numerous series such as WorkaholicsThe NeighborsThe Office and Law and Order: SVU. His feature film credits include appearing with Sugar Ray in the live-action Scooby-Doo and opposite David Spade in Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser. He also currently hosts Mark McGrath’s 120, his own SiriusXM satellite radio show on its '90s on 9 channel.

Of course, those film and television credits followed McGrath’s success as founder and frontman for Sugar Ray. Formerly known as Shrinky Dinx, Sugar Ray made a splash in 1997 with hit single “Fly.” That song appeared on the band's sophomore album, Floored, which went double-platinum at peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 chart. McGrath would go on to become the band’s principle songwriter and co-write all its hit songs.

Sugar Ray’s third album, 14:59, was released in 1999 and went on to outsell its predecessor, propelled by the success of singles "Every Morning," "Someday" and "Falls Apart." Over the course of its career, the band has sold more than 8 million records worldwide and reached the top of Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks, Top 40 Mainstream and Adult Top 40 charts.

On May 30, Sugar Ray announced their first new album in 10 years. Their seventh studio album will be released this summer through BMG, serving as the follow up to 2009’s Music For Cougars. The band will also hit the road on tour this summer.

Sugar Ray is repped by Josh Humiston and Travis Wolfe at APA for touring. Both the band and McGrath continue to be managed by Chip Quigley of Kingdom Entertainment.
