Brandi Carlile has signed with BMI for worldwide music representation. The three-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, as well as her long-time collaborators Tim and Phil Hanseroth, have signed a long-term deal with the performing rights organization.

“We are thrilled to have the incomparable Brandi Carlile and Phil and Tim Hanseroth join the BMI family,” says Mason Hunter, AVP, Creative, Nashville, in a statement. “We have admired their talents for many years.”

He adds, “In terms of great songwriting, captivating vocals, and musical integrity, Brandi is raising the bar for this generation’s music makers. From hosting her own festival to her incredible evening at the GRAMMYs, her year is off to a fantastic start and BMI is proud to be a partner in her ascending career.”

Carlile’s signing with BMI follows the singer’s landmark year that includes three Grammy wins. Additionally, in January Carlile launched her first festival. Following the success of the all-female destination concert vacation Girls Just Wanna Weekend, the singer has revealed its return in 2020.

She was also recently announced as an artist of the year nominee at the upcoming Americana Music Awards and will perform at the 2019 CMT Music Awards on June 5 with Tanya Tucker. Her latest album, By the Way, I Forgive You, was released in 2018.
