Arketek, the management and A&R consulting firm founded by industry vets Edith Bo and Stan Greene in 2017, has partnered with Sony/ATV to sign singer-songwriter Saint Bodhi to a worldwide publishing deal.

The pact marks Arketek's first link-up with Sony/ATV, and follows a courtship lasting several months. Bo first invited Bodhi to swing by Arketek's Los Angeles office last fall, after hearing buzz about the rising topliner, who has worked with pop and R&B/hip-hop acts like Tinashe, Illmind and T-Minus.

"We loved her personality. She has such a kind heart," Bo tells Billboard. "What Stan and I try to do is see potential in somebody before everybody else, and create that environment where they feel comfortable. Saint Bodhi is a tremendous talent and has an incredible work ethic."

Given Bodhi's ability to act as a chameleon in the studio, working across genres, Bo thought Sony/ATV's diverse artist roster would be a perfect match for the rising talent. When she introduced Bodhi to Sony/ATV manager, creative Sam Reas and vp, creative Ian Holder, everything clicked.

"We were trying to find a strategic partnership with her -- people that really understand where she's coming from," adds Bo, a Billboard Women In Music 2018 honoree and former Roc Nation artist manager. She's also looking forward to teaming up with new Sony/ATV chairman and CEO Jon Platt to mix Bodhi in with acts on the publisher's own roster.

While Bo stays mum on the details, she says Bodhi is currently working on projects from several "big names" in hip-hop and R&B. "Her unique songwriting ability, finely-tuned ear and unmatched work ethic sets her apart from the pack, and we can’t wait for the world to hear these upcoming releases," adds Greene, an engineer and producer who has worked with Rihanna and Big Sean, in a joint statement with Bo.

Bodhi, 27, will also release her own music as a solo R&B-leaning artist.

“Some things very important to me are creative growth, having a supportive team and knowing that my music is in the hands of good people who care about the art," Bodhi adds. "I am super excited to be able to start working with Ian, Sam and the talented team over at Sony/ATV. Looking forward to what this new chapter has in store.”

Arketek's growing roster also includes producer Desmond South, The Cold Seas indie band frontman Chad Sabo and singer-songwriter-producer Kïng Elle Noir.
