Portugal. The Man to Perform at ASCAP's 'I Create Music' EXPO 2019

Singer-songwriter Yuna and hip-hop producer Nineteen85 have joined the panelist lineup.

Portugal. The Man will perform at ASCAP’s 2019 “I Create Music” EXPO, the organization announced Thursday (April 18). The Grammy-winning rock band will perform on the morning of May 2 as part of ASCAP’s Annual Membership Meeting.

Additionally, hip-hop producer Nineteen85, best known for his collaborations with Drake, will be taking part in the Billboard-sponsored We Create Music panel at EXPO, joining previously-announced panelists Anthony Rossomando (Oscar-winning “Shallow” co-writer), singer-songwriter Lee Ann Womack and Captain Marvel composer Pinar Toorak.

Also newly announced for the EXPO is singer-songwriter Yuna, who will participate in a conversation about the future of electronic music alongside her friend and collaborator TOKiMONSTA.

The 2019 ASCAP “I Create Music” EXPO runs from May 2-4 at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. Other music-industry luminaries scheduled to appear include Questlove, Wyclef Jean, songwriter Victoria Monét (Thank U, Next) and This Is Us composer Siddhartha Khosla.
