Pandora and SiriusXM announced on Thursday their first cross-platform "experience" for users since the satellite radio giant acquired the digital streamer earlier this year. Launching immediately on both platforms is Pandora NOW, a curated channel of the most listened-to and top-trending new music on Pandora across all genres.

On Pandora's radio platform, NOW will be an interactive station with song skips and ratings; subscribers to Pandora's premium on-demand tier will also have access to a curated playlist. For SirusXM listeners, Pandora NOW is your new channel 3 and, like on Pandora, will feature uncensored versions of all the top tracks across hip-hop, pop, dance, latin and more.

"We’re excited to combine, for the first time, the wealth of Pandora listener data with the proven curation expertise of our SiriusXM team to give our combined 100 million listeners a truly unique and unprecedented listening experience," said Scott Greenstein, president and CCO of SiriusXM. "Not only will Pandora NOW give listeners exclusive, up-to-the-moment access to the music people are streaming on Pandora the most, but it will let music fans influence which songs are played."

The launch arrives a month into Greenstein's new programming push at Pandora, which saw the creation of the company's first-ever dedicated content team, featuring vp of content and programming Alex White, vp of label relations Jeff Zuchowski, vp of editorial content Bill Crandall and head of podcasts and entertainment content partnerships Lindsay Bowen.

SiriusXM finalized its $3.5 billion purchase of Pandora in early February.

To celebrate NOW, Khalid will be at SiriusXM's Rockefeller Center studios on Thursday to launch the new channel and station on SiriusXM and Pandora.
