Issa Rae, John Mulaney, Ilana Glazer Announced For Clusterfest's Massive Lineup

San Francisco’s comedy, music and podcast festival Clusterfest has announced Issae Rae, John Mulaney, Ilana Glazer, Courtney Barnett, The Roots and more for its 2019 lineup.

The massive lineup will also feature popular podcasts My Favorite Murder, Lovett or Leave It, Disgraceland and more.

The collaboration between Comedy Central, festival producer Superfly and independent promoter Another Planet Entertainment will also feature comedy from Patton Oswalt, Tig Notaro, Leslie Jones, Jonathan Van Ness & Friends, Chelsea Peretti, Amanda Seales, Sinbad and more.

“We’re excited to share today’s lineup that reflects the diversity of comedy across stand up, podcasts and live reads, paired with musical performances,” said EVP of talent and development for Comedy Central Jonas Larsen in a release. “Clusterfest continues to deliver a one of a kind festival experience you can’t find anywhere else.”

Musical acts will include Big Freedia, Girl Talk, Japanese Breakfast, Mac Sabbath and The Office’s Craig Robinson & The Nasty Delicious.

"Clusterfest is about presenting the breadth of comedy and music in a way that easily lends itself to discovering something new and entertaining, and this year's stacked lineup does just that," said Superfly’s EVP of programming Chris Sampson. "We’re beyond excited to return this year with more top-tier and emerging talent and can’t wait to unveil even more leading up to the festival weekend.”

Taking place in the heart of San Francisco at Civic Center Plaza and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, the June 21-23 festival also feature comedians Anthony Jeselnik, Whitney Cummings, SNL’s Chris Redd, Nicole Byer, Rory Scovel, Fortune Feimster, Todd Barry and Jaboukie Young-White, as well as live reads like Romy & Michele’s High School Reunion: with drag queens Trixie Mattel, Katya, and Peaches Christ.

Once again, Clusterfest has partnered with several local nonprofits, including America Scores, Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco (Tenderloin Clubhouse) and United Playaz. A portion of all festival ticket sales will be donated to each organization to help support their causes in the San Francisco community.
