Mexican-American singer-songwriters Jesse & Joy have signed a worldwide deal with Kobalt Music, Billboard has learned. The agreement includes publishing administration for the duo’s new single “Te Esperé” and future works.

"From the very beginning, the siblings have reached millions of hearts with their beautiful songs, not only as spectacular performers, but also as outstanding lyricists and composers,” said Nestor Casonu, Kobalt Music President, Latin America. “We look forward to supporting their continued trajectory as one of Latin music’s most celebrated and treasured duos."

The Mexican American duo, born and raised in Mexico City, won the 2017 Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album, Un Besito Más, adding to their six career Latin Grammys. Their previous single, “3 A.M” with Gente De Zona, garnered record streams for the artists worldwide, ranking high among their hits “Corre!,” “Dueles,” “Ecos de amor” and “Me Soltaste."

"As singer-songwriters, there is nothing more sacred than our music,” said Jesse & Joy in a press statement. "Each lyric, melody, and bar of music runs through our veins like the blood that binds us as brother and sister. We’re very excited to find a new home for our creations and to join the Kobalt family.”

Jesse & Joy released their new single “Te Esperé” on Friday (Nov. 23).  The song is part of their new project due  in 2019.

“Jesse & Joy transcend all boundaries when it comes to making music, crafting timeless songs that always hit emotional chords - both in English and Spanish,” Kobalt Music VP Creative, Latin America, Leslie Ahrens added.
