Mondo.NYC Announces 2018 Conference Dates

Mondo.NYC officially announced the dates for its annual conference on Tuesday (Sept. 18). The global emerging music and frontier technology conference will take place on Oct. 2-5, 2018 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with daytime conferences headquartered at the Williamsburg Hotel.

This year, Mondo.NYC will be partnering with The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Guild of Music Supervisors and Record Store Day to facilitate each day's programs. The mission of the conference is to allow professionals within the music industry to build their network of connections, connect fans to new artists and help leading names in music and tech interact with business pioneers and industry veterans.

Highlights for the conference will include a music technology day, a streaming revenue and policy educational discussion and a conversation series held at Brooklyn's Rough Trade Records.

The Mondo.NYC 2018 conference will feature over 150 artists from around the world, including Indian electropop group Laxmi Bomb, dance artist Omar Souleyman from Syria, Los Angeles-based rockers The Darbies, Canadian singer-songwriter Karimah with a full list of performers to arrive shortly. Live showcases will take place during the evening at iconic New York City venues like Brooklyn Bowl, Pianos, Berlin, The Delancey and more.
