The deal kicks off with a weekly single series highlighting female artists.

Caroline announced a new distribution deal with fashion-focused brand and social media platform VFILES on Wednesday (Sept. 12), revealing plans to release weekly singles over the next six weeks that will highlight female performers.

The partnership kicked off Wednesday with the release of "99 Bottles" by Brooklyn-based musician Alex Mali and will include a new track every Friday moving forward, featuring Coi Leray, Maya Hirasedo, La Goony Chonga, Penelope and Evoni, concluding Oct. 12.

“When Matt and I met Julie Anne (Quay), we had immediate chemistry and a belief that we could help each other build something special. VFILES, and what it represents in both fashion and popular culture, is exciting to all of us," said Caroline President Jacqueline Saturn in a statement. "On behalf of the entire Caroline team we welcome Julie Anne and VFILES to the family!"

VFILES founder and CEO Julie Anne Quay added: “When we met Jaqueline and Matt I knew that we had connected with like-minded partners who had a similar goal to ours at VFILES - to bring more music to more people with a focus on empowering the artist. Through this partnership we hope to be able to add more voices to the daily music landscape, more hits and, of course, more touring experiences.”
