Kathy Griffin Signs With APA
The history-making comedian will be represented by APA in all areas.
Comedian Kathy Griffin has signed with APA across the board. The two-time Emmy and Grammy award winner has taken her pull-no-punches comedy to hundreds of thousands of fans across the globe and performed at iconic venues such as Sydney Opera House, Madison Square Garden and Carnegie Hall.
In 2013, Griffin was inducted into the “Guinness Book of World Records” for writing and starring in an unprecedented 20 televised stand-up specials, which is a record for any comedian in history. The following year, Griffin once again made history for her sixth consecutive Grammy nomination and first win for best comedy album, Kathy Griffin: Calm Down Girl.
Griffin has additionally proved her comedic chops as a prolific television host. Along with Anderson Cooper, Griffin hosted CNN’s New Year’s Eve special for a worldwide audience for 10 years. She has also co-hosted the Billboard Music Awards three years in a row, the 41st annual Daytime Emmy Awards, and AARP’s Movies for Grownups Gala. Those credentials landed the iconic comedian her own late-night talk show, Kathy, on Bravo.
Griffin has won two Primetime Emmy Awards for her hit reality series, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, which aired for six years on Bravo, was nominated every single year of its run, and garnered the GLAAD Media Award for Best Reality Program.
As an actress, Griffin’s credits include her series regular role on NBC's hit series Suddenly Susan, as well as guest starring on Seinfeld and Law & Order: SVU. She has also lent her unique voice to animated characters in Shrek Forever After, as well The Simpsons, American Dad, and Dilbert.
