'Self Care' rapper was to play a 26-show tour kicking off in October
Mac Miller's 26-date fall tour has been canceled following his unexpected death early Friday (Sept. 7).
Tickets for the "Self Care" rapper's fall tour in support of his Swimming album were pulled down hours after he passed away from an apparent overdose. The Pittsburgh rapper, singer and producer was reportedly found dead in his San Fernando Valley home.
Miller was represented by talent agency WME and his Swimming Tour was booked by Live Nation, set to kick off Oct. 27 at The Masonic in San Francisco. Miller had selected singer and bass-guitarist Thundercat and Atlanta rapper J.I.D. to open for him on tour. Both artists took to Twitter to pay their respects to Miller after learning of his death.
