MelodyVR announced on Thursday (Sept. 7) that they will be teaming up with Post Malone, Macklemore, Wiz Khalifa, and Nicky Jam to redefine the way their fans experience their live concerts. MelodyVR, a virtual reality music app that launched in May 2018, is on a mission to offer fans and artists access to "the world’s largest library of immersive and interactive virtual reality music experiences from today’s biggest artists."

In the next couple of months, MelodyVR will offer virtual tickets to a variety of international concerts so fans across the world can experience the live events as they happen. In turn, the VR concert experience will increase revenue streams as the concert streaming will alow artists, promoters, and venues to sell an infinite amount of tickets since the experience would be available from anywhere.

The experience will feature the show from multiple points of view and will give fans using the service the option of choosing what they see and where they stand. This gives fans the opportunity to get closer to the performers through the immersive view selection.

The ultimate goal of MelodyVR is not to replace the live experience, but to remove time and capacity constraints, to let fans see shows that take place on the other side of the world, and experience a show that is either sold out or too expensive.

MelodyVR has teamed up with other artists like Fall Out Boy, Niall Horan, Blake Shelton and more.
