Cara Hutchison Promoted at Rogers & Cowan, Part of PR Team for the Rolling Stones, Elton John, More
Cara Hutchison, an eight-year veteran of Rogers & Cowan, has been promoted to vice president at the public relations firm.
“She has been a significant part of the team with me for Elton John and the Rolling Stones,” says Fran Curtis, co-president of entertainment worldwide at Rogers & Cowan. “She also works with Lionel Richie and Tiësto, as well as many of our tours including Katy Perry, Roger Waters, Queen + Adam Lambert, Brad Paisley and more.”
At the Songwriters Hall of Fame annual induction dinner in New York June 14, hall president/CEO Linda Moran thanked Hutchison during her opening remarks for her longtime representation of the organization.
Other major events and campaigns Hutchison has worked on include the Desert Trip music festival, the Rolling Stones' historic performance in Havana, Cuba and the virtual reality announcement of Elton John’s final tour.
Hutchison is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication; and New York University, where she earned a master's degree in public relations and corporate communications.
