Pandora users will soon be able to share their favorite songs with friends on Snapchat, thanks to a new integrated partnership between the two apps. In the coming weeks, Pandora listeners can begin utilizing a 'Share on Snapchat' option while listening to tracks via animated song cards.

The song cards can be sent to a friend one-on-one, to a group or to their Story, and interested recipients can easily listen to the track by swiping up. The companies see the integration -- the first related to music streaming for Snap Kit, Snap's platform for developers -- as a major boost to music discovery.

"This will be a powerful and comprehensive social integration with music," said Chris Phillips, chief product officer at Pandora. "The Snapchat product experience and user base are primed for sharing, and our collaboration will provide a creative and compelling way to discover and enjoy music in a way that's intuitive to Snapchatters."

Added Jacob Andreou, Snap's vp of product: "We're always looking for more ways to bring Snapchat into the world and the world into Snapchat. With their vast music library, Pandora's partnership with Snap Kit will help us make it easier and more fun for Snapchatters to share the music they love."

The new share feature will soon roll out to Pandora and Snap users in the U.S.
