Creative Artist Agency hosted its annual charity BBQ on Monday at Martin's BBQ in Nashville. The event raised more than $30,000 for two organizations with whom the agency has a longstanding relationship: Communities In Schools of Tennessee at Nashville and the PENCIL Foundation, both of which support students at local public schools.

The event was attended by Chrissy Metz from NBC’s popular series This Is Us, who is also presenting at the 2018 CMT Awards on Wednesday night (June 6). Among others, also in attendance were country band Midland, singer Jon Pardi, CAA partner and head of music Rob Light, CAA Nashville co-founders Rod Essig and John Huie, CAA Nashville co-heads Brian Manning, Marc Dennis and Darin Murphy, and CAA agent Cait Hoyt, who handled the publishing deal for Tim McGraw’s best-selling book Humble & Kind. CAA clients LOCASH, Shay Mooney, Kip Moore, Russell Dickerson, and Hunter Hayes were also among those in attendance.
