The 2019 Stockholm festival will be Lollapalooza’s sixth international edition.

Producers of Lollapalooza have announced the newest edition to their international festival, Lollapalooza Stockholm. The new international festival’s debut will be from June 28-29, 2019 at Gärdet, a beautiful park in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden.

“The historic Ga?rdet and the iconic festival Lollapalooza are the perfect match. For decades we have been wanting to do a really big festival in Stockholm and we are very honored and excited to do this together with Charles Attal and his team at C3 Presents,” said Thomas Johansson, Chairman International Music, Live Nation in a release. “Welcome to Stockholm, Lollapalooza!”

Lollapalooza Stockholm is produced by Perry Farrell, WME, C3 Presents and Live Nation Sweden with their subsidiary company Luger - the award-winning organization behind Swedish festivals such as Way Out West and A?re Sessions.

“It takes years of research and planning to determine the right cities to host Lollapalooza, and we never take the decision lightly. With its incredible culture, vibrant music scene and beautiful green spaces, Stockholm proved to be an ideal city to add to our growing international family,” said Charles Attal, Partner, C3 Presents in a release.

Attal added, “We are fortunate and honored to partner with Anna Sjolund, Thomas Johansson and their team, who are highly respected around the world as some of the best promoters in the business.”

The Stockholm edition is Lollapalooza’s sixth international edition with festivals taking place in Santiago, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Berlin and Paris. Lollapalooza Stockholm will feature four stages, culinary selections, art, and more. The 2019 lineup will be released later this year along with ticket information.
