Downtown Music Publishing has made two new hires and one promotion to their A&R team: Andrew Gould to senior vice president and head of A&R in Los Angeles, Corey Roberts to vice president of A&R research in New York, while Steve Markland has been promoted to senior vice president of A&R in Nashville.

In his new role, Gould will oversee the company's A&R, writer relations, and creative development operations in North America. Roberts will be responsible for the discovery and study of the analytics behind artists and songs, both new and old, in order to identify potential new opportunities for Downtown. Markland's role won't change drastically as he will still focus on bringing new talent to the company for more growth.

Live Nation has expanded their U.S. concerts division in New York with one new hire and one promotion. Anthony Makes has been appointed to president and will lead the company’s continued expansion in the market and will further develop their concert promotions and event bookings. Jason Miller has been promoted to executive president and will work closely with Makes to oversee booking and continue attracting top talent.

"Anthony brings significant industry experience from his 25-year career in music," said Alan Outfield, President of U.S. Concerts, North Atlantic Region. "With their combined knowledge of New York and strong relationships within the industry, Anthony and Jason will be unstoppable as we continue working to expand our annual concert events and venue platform."

Milk + Honey Management has promoted Nic Warner to general manager. He will continue to work alongside the majority of the M+H roster and offer creative support to their clients and managers on all business and creative aspects.

"I am incredibly proud to promote Nic to GM of Milk +Honey," said Lucas Keller, Founder & President of Milk + Honey Management. "His tenacity, loyalty and hard work have been one of the most important building blocks in establishing Milk + Honey as a successful management company.  I am looking forward to working with Nic for many years to come and having him help grow the company.”

Curb Records has promoted Cheryl Broz to senior vice president of pop promotion and radio marketing. In her new role, Broz will continue to initiate and guide the label's direction for promotion and radio marketing strategies across all pop and rock platforms.

"Cheryl's years of experience combined with her longstanding relationships at radio make her a tremendous asset to our promotion team and to our roster of talented artists," comments Jim Ed Norman, CEO, Recorded Music and Publishing for Curb/ Word Entertainment.
