The label is moving from New York to a new headquarters in Hollywood's Capitol Tower.

Capitol Music Group COO Michelle Jubelirer has announced Toby Andrews as the general manager for CMG's Astralwerks label. Andrews, who will report to Jubelirer, will work on renewing Astralwerks' presence in the dance and electronic music genre with a focus on international and independent talent.

Along with Andrews' appointment, Astralwerks also confirmed the relocation of its headquarters from New York to Los Angeles. As previously reported by Billboard, the label is moving into the legendary Capitol Tower in Hollywood.

"Toby is the ideal executive to lead Astralwerks in the years ahead," Jubelirer said. "He is widely admired and respected throughout the industry, particularly in the dance and electronic space, and is known for his abilities in artist development and for cultivating strong relationships with creators and other talent to achieve success. All of us at CMG welcome him to the Tower and congratulate him on his appointment."

Andrews previously was based in London and served as general manager of Sony Music International, where he oversaw the campaigns of Martin Garrix, Kygo and Jean-Michel Jarre, among others. Prior to Sony, Andrews was in charge of the London office for public relations firm Get In, where he created and executed campaigns for clients that included Tomorrowland, Avicii, Martin Solveig and Porter Robinson

"I'm honored to have been given the opportunity to continue the legacy of a label I’ve admired for years," Andrews said. "The recorded music space for electronic artists has changed so much in the past few years and I’m excited to bring a truly artist-first, international approach to Astralwerks. Thanks to Steve Barnett, Michelle Jubelirer and Geoff Harris for their support and belief in a bold new era for the label."
