Zac Brown Band had previously been managed by Roar Management's Bernie Cahill and William Ward, who helped Brown establish the Southern Ground Music and Food Festivals, which took a hiatus in 2017 and was set to return in 2018, although no announcement has been made yet. Brown is represented by CAA and is performing a long run of dates this summer, including stops at Fenway Park in Boston (June 14-15), Citi Field in New York (July 28-29) and Petco Park in San Diego (Sept. 22).
"The baseball stadiums are always super fun. There's kind of a nostalgia that comes along with those places where it just feels everybody is in a good mind-set," Brown told Billboard in an October interview. "They're in a place where people have been having fun for a long time and they're intimate. We're the only band they've let play at Coors Field [in Denver], so that's pretty cool."
Zac Brown Band is also headlining this year's Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (June 7-10), and Jazz Aspen Snow Mass (Aug. 31-Sept. 2). And when he's not touring, Brown continues to develop his Camp Southern Ground in Georgia.
"We're building the first sleep-away lodge," he told Billboard last year. "The dining hall is finished and the organic farm, shade pavilion and ropes course are ready. But once this lodge gets done, it'll sleep 140 people and there will be people there staying and doing stuff year-round."
