Spotify Ad Studio Announces Expansion to the UK and Canada

Spotify's self-serve audio advertising platform, Spotify Ad Studio, has been expanded to the U.K. and Canada. ?Since launching in the U.S. last fall, the studio has attracted 1,025 advertisers who have created 4,736 total campaigns.

Advertisers interested in amplifying their product can go on the Spotify Studio Ad website and create or upload their own ad in which they can share a script and choose background music. After receiving a fully-produced audio ad to review, they can choose their demographic, customize their campaign, and track their results.

Ads are two times more likely to lift purchase intent with audio rather than display ads, as reported by research from Nielsen Media Lab. 

"We know our target audience is on Spotify, so it’s really a no-brainer for us to integrate Ad Studio into our digital strategy," said Leland Dieno, marketing manager at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Canada. "It lets us reach our exact audience in a hyper-targeted way, directly in their ears."
